Yeah I'm not gonna lie I also was a bit.... Oh god here we go, a little bit close to "the real world" right now.I sighed when I saw the story thinly veiled premise for S5, come on, this was so much fun before, I hope this is not going to be another lecture. I wouldn't **** on Farage if he was on fire, but I don't want an the nose "modern day politics" season. I truly hope it broadens out from this into something really interesting
Agreed, although it annoyed me how myopic/ignorant Ho was to the situation. He's always been…icky with women but he’s never struck me as plain stupid.Better episode back on track.
That’s the point. But not quite. Don’t treat it as a documentary and enjoy the ride.First episode: opening was good, then a lot of meh.
Second episode: much better.
I'm not saying they should be super spies, but the Slough House team are wastes of space. MH issues, drug issues and just plain incompetent. I've worked with the Security Services and tbh, some of them have brains the sizes of planets, even the ones out on the ground are intelligent people. Is this poetic licence for the TV or are they as bad as this in the books?
I appreciate they are agents moved out of the Park, but they are just bumbling imbeciles.
RIGHT!? My wife's comment was "What kind of Final Destination sht is this?"Ep 4. Decent episode until the Home Alone ending - pathetic.
yeah, went too far down the slap stick path for my liking, quite funny, but stuck out as not consistent with the expected tone.Ep 4. Decent episode until the Home Alone ending - pathetic.
This season is the first one I felt was below par. Maybe ive just got used to the format im not sure. Either way I feel its got a bit predictable.Does it get considerably better after season 1 ? I watched S1 and thought it was pretty average stuff but noticed it’s rated quite highly so presume it improves a fair bit ?
