I'll order one. There's no import tax right? My SFP Wizard has just shipped so it will arrive tomorrow. That's going to come in quite handy, especially for Intel NICs
They are sold out nowI'll order one. There's no import tax right?
Do they have a store in the UK?

What the hell... Already? They are sold out now
Shame as I could do with one for work as just ended up ordering some compatible HP Aruba SFP+ modules as nowhere had stock of genuine
Yes, I would like this a lot. I'm using an M6 Nighthawk at the moment for our home 5G connectionI'm still waiting for Ubiquiti to release their 5G link modem!
Interested to see how useful this actually is, testing light levels is pretty straight forward on most switches which have the ability within the cli. I have a cisco sfp to ethernet which worked no problem at all in cgf, also tested an aruba 10gb dac which is working perfectly.SFP Wizard

Ah of course Cisco love be 'different'The point of the product is that you can flash Ubiquiti optics to pretend to be Cisco ones
Potentially yes. (Some testing has been done in the reddit link below)Can you reprogram non-Ubiquiti SFPs with their SFP Wizard?
It's every switch vendor that operates in the enterprise space, in fairness. They all by default lock out SFPs that aren't their own certified ones.Ah of course Cisco love be 'different'
I've got a UXG-Gateway Max that I have just upgraded from (to a Cloud Gateway Fiber). Is anyone else running a cloud gateway max? If so have you ever just had it crash to the point I had to turn the plug off at the wall and turn it back on to restart it? I am not sure what the cause was as all that shows in the logs is the wired devices disconnecting. It is not in an enclosed space or anything
I had a larger rack but we moved into a barn conversion cottage with low roofs and wooden beams so it had to go, hence the mini racks.I'm quite envious of people with the space to have racks. Especially when I look at North American housesmy tiny new build barely has a single cupboard.
