They are a little hard for me hence why i like the Kanzi.. I think i recall Aldi do a really nice yellow one thats a little firmer and sharper than Golden Del.

Cold apples are excellent! I tend to go for the “best of British” at Sainsbury’s. Varied varieties and usually decent reliable eating apples that are cheaper than the “premium” imported varieties. My 20 year old self would be so disappointed right now at how much of a treat I think a good apple is

Been ill for just over a week now (maybe covid, maybe not, who knows!) and for some reason have been stuffing my face constantly, and after weighing myself this morning for the 1st time in a week, I am over a kilo heavier.
It's a lot easier to put it on than get it off again.

Same here, was in the UK last week and have come back generally feeling ill. Feel like i've been constantly hungry and not really done any exercise.

I've also done something to my lower back, almost feels sciatica like, but usually anything i tweak around there sorts itself out, this has been an annoyance for 2 weeks. It's not sharp shooting pains or anything. Just a weird tightness also not helping my exercise motivation.

I’m having a really hungry week (feel your pain @Uther ). Not sure if it’s a bit of a viral bug or just relaxing a bit on holiday. I also find that my lower back flares up if I get a viral illness… really adds insult to injury.

Managed a 45 min Wattbike session and Pilates yesterday, so not completely sedentary this week.

Could be that, although i think it's my new bike and the fit not being right. Or maybe the fit not being right on my indoor turbo as i've been using that a lot more recently too.

Had a bike event at the weekend and felt "ok" but the hills left me quite exhausted and dizzy. Hit the fork between the 2 distances and cut down to the shorter distance as the longer one had ~500m of climb in 20km and not sure i had that in me without having a huge knock on with recovery.

Unsure if anyone has seen it but i bought a mobility program (Simplistic Mobility Method) ages ago which i've never really followed. Did the first session last night. Decent mix of stretch and some strength. Going to really try and follow it for a while and then add in more strength stuff in the future. Annoyingly my squat rack is outside in this house and surrounded by trees, and it's dark early which means i get bitten by bugs if i try and do anything.

In amusing news. This Hume Health scale is going back. Apparently i have 11% BF  This has been a constant reading over 2 weeks, so not just a one off.

Starting a New Year’s resolution early can only be a good thing.

I’m on a decent streak of actually exercising at least once a week (not including my 10 minute cycle commute). Want to keep that up for the rest of the year.

Diet has been suboptimal and I’m carrying a lot of bloat as a result. Hoping I can have a couple of sensible weeks before Christmas. 34” trousers still fitting nicely, so no alarm bells just yet!

I seem to have dropped under 100kg again. I nudged above it a couple weeks ago and whatever bug i had just meant i craved junk food and not much exercise.

Sorry @AndyCr15 Can't help your gearing issue anymore :p

Interesting experience stopping mounjaro.

So I've been off it for 10x weeks now and here's whats happened.

I continued exercising, (strength training 1-2 times a week + 2x HIIT classes), I weigh all my food and track everything, religiously. I eat between 1900-2100 cal per day, 45% from protein.

I have absolutely stuck to the diet and exercise plan, literally - no takeaways, no chocolate, no badness - same food daily.

My weight has been all over the place, up from 82KG to 86KG with seemingly no change in body fat, waist measurement or anything else. (my body fat is still around 20-21%)

My PT and AI both seem to think it's water retention, as after 8-10 weeks your gut goes back to how it was before Mounjaro, and there are a lot of physiological changes when you stop.

A lot of other side effects too, like the most insane farts - the other day my flat smelt like dogfarts, absolutely horrendous - apparently this is the effect of the digestive system creating extra gas having re-normalised after stopping mounjaro.
