Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Anyone else noticed any issues with the windows HDR app?

I'm not on my gaming pc right now so can't be exact but a when running the HDR app I set it up like this:

Black 0
White 1000
(Whatever is next) 1000
And I think brightness on 70

This used to work with no issues.

Now however I find that when I set the black to 0 and press next on the next page once you start moving the slider you can no longer see the buttons or the slider (it goes black).

Luckily if you pull the slider in a straight line you will still get the value (in my case 1000) so it allows me to finish the calibration but it's a definite bug.

When I next update the GPU drivers I will try and video record it.

I just purchased the AW2725D as the price was too good to pass up. Was trying to wait for a 24" OLED but I'm sick of my IPS monitors, ever since I got my LG C1 I've been avoiding gaming on my monitors more and more as the picture quality is so dull compared to OLED + HDR. IPS glow is also very annoying and puts me off playing games with dark scenes.

Now I can go and enjoy KCD2 and Dying Light: The Beast on tuesday in OLED HDR glory :D .

Had my 2nd Panel Refresh prompt since getting this QF.IIRC the cycle interval changed from last gen QD-OLED, think it's like 3000 hours now instead of 1500? Would be nice to have a service menu to see usage hours and stuff.

32" ones are on sale now and with my work discount I can get one sub £600. Are they still the monitor to get or is there anything better on the horizon?

And you're still to see any burn in on yours right?
Correct no issues there and last week had my first panel refresh prompt since getting it in July 2024.

As of right now:

The hints of purple are just image jpeg artefacts so ignore that.

£597.20 plus £88 in dell points I can spend on a new monitor for the missus, and maybe a £15 from quidco!!

Edit £65 in dell points and a tenner from quidco...(it's still better than nothing!!)
