black friday deals?

Yeah I've been tracking some items on the river place and they were a good deal a few weeks back, now they're climbing up in price by at least £40 and rising, I'm sure ready for the BF event
I bought a shark ip1251ukt vacuum for £299 early October, a week later it was £499.
Now it's showing as epic deal at£299, at that electric shop with an Indian dish name.
Just a big con.

Yup, been looking at a few things PC related and the prices are rising heavily, ready for the drop in a couple of weeks time!

I don't bother now, I have a rough idea of the prices of the things I want and just get them when it's the right price for me, for the last couple of years I've not lost out at all on BF, in fact I've saved money on a few occasions.

They need to get the stock sorted first, was having a look at B850 boards for a friend whose planning to upgrade soon and out of the 55 boards listed they only have 15 in stock.

Last time there was no deals. They just raised all the prices beforehand then dropped them back to regular prices for the same. You need to look at camel, camel or such. And track things you want to buy. Occasionally they might sell off older stock but it's like 5%-10%

Parents pixel 7a battery is showing signs of age and having to be charged daily with very light use. Figured I might look around and managed to get them the pixel 9a from Giffgaff for £259 with a 30 day SIM which I'll activate and then let lapse. Pretty pleased with that price for a black Friday deal. :)

There was a recall on pixel 7a for a battery fault. You should look up the number of the phone see it qualifies.

The best deals are going to be live closer to Black Friday.

Whilst there will be discounts throughout the month the best deals will be end of month. This has always been the case with BF.

Tag me if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer :)

I just bought the NZXT H6 flow RGB case for £109 I was going to wait for BF but I've done that before many times and it's rubbish. So I grabbed it now when I could. If it's suddenly £80 or so on BF I'll post on here and weep.

a bunch of BF deals have gone live over the last week.
there are some areas I can highlight that are products in my own categories, meaning I can confirm that the prices drops are the best available.

PSU Deals - The Seasonic Core GX650 is on pre order but stock is due to land in the next 10 days.

Gaming Chairs

PC Cases

Obviously there are a lot of products which may be subject to discounts further down the line. There are still deals in the works that will be added closer to the end of the month in other categories.

Price for the components I picked still haven't dropped in the slightest :p

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,300.69 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Any ideas on the out of stock items? Seems like they, mainly the lian li case and msi mb have been oos for quite a while now.

yeah ive noticed prices have gone up on a couple of items ive been eyeing up to possibly get on bf lol not anywhere in particular but ive noticed hte prices gone up on a couple of items im guessing just so it can be dropped back to where it was a week or two ago and make it look like a great bf deal when its exactly the same price it was lol
i think thats what ive spotted this morning looking onine lol maybe im just cynical or something lol

there are enough price tracking tools available to the public that it makes very little sense to do this.
you only need to check a product on PCPP and you can see what the price history looks like on the timeline at the bottom of the page.

The market currently is undergoing huge issues around DRAM product availability also. Meaning SSD and DRAM are both pretty much off the table for deals.
Some vendors have their pricing on sales out schedules meaning you will likely see their pricing reset to MSRP for a day or so before the next wave of price support comes in.

@Nexus18 - your motherboard has been in stock shortage for around 6 weeks. ETD for that is early December. The O11D case is on our next Lian Li container due to land with us week commencing 24/11/2025.

BF deals tend to be more on products that are older/slower moving. You have basically made a list of some of our most popular products so they are less likely to see a significant discount.
