Across the Universe - 7/10
I have seen it before but really enjoy it. It is a musical with a strong story with meaning set to songs from the Beatles.
Woke usually covers lgbtq+ too. Infact woke usually covers everything.I never mentioned puffs in my post.

even Keanu was more wooden than usual..

The dog was just the co-writer/director's own pet dog, so no formal acting training . It was filmed over the span of 3 years and a total of 400 filming days. His journey to make this is interesting. Not last night but a few over the last few days
A Big Bold Beautiful Journey - More one for the Mrs but still quite an interesting premise, didn't quite pull it off but A for effort and doing something different in a world of sequels/remakes and more than watchable. i might be unique with this but got a bit of The Wristcutters vibe from this
Good Boy - Fair play to whoever trained the dog in this, the dog was really good, as for the rest of it, well it was rather poor, some of the editing/story telling was really bad. Not really sure what they were aiming for with this one.
Eden - Jude Law seems to be getting a bit of a renaissance of late, based on a true story to some degree, probably one of the better films ive watched of late and left me wanting to look into the premise of the film.
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
The first Bond I saw at the cinema and is probably my favourite. Although it still follows the tried and tested Bond format, it seemed a big step up from all of the previous films and makes rewatching today a bit less dated. The Lotus is the best Bond gadget to-date, the opening sequence is still impressive with the best use of the Bond theme and Jaws is a great henchman.
Although I do think that if I ever fancy watching a Bond in isolation then I'd probably choose Casino Royale or Skyfall.
7/10
Glad to hear it, always happy to get more people to watch it!Wow! I had to come back and say thank you for this recommendation, what a fantastic film!!
10/10
Ah I love this filmTremors!
Absolute classic, a lot more cheese than I remember from when I was a very much younger but really enjoyed revisiting it! 8/10

I think in recent years he has accepted it and gotten on board with it.Ah I love this film
I think Kevin Bacon pretty much disowns his role in it for some reason, but I think it's great. Plenty of cheese as you say, but it never takes itself seriously. Great fun![]()
That's fair enough, it really shows it wasn't the most professional of productions but I'll give them a pass considering its their debut film. There is the bones for a good horror there. Its rare I say this but it could have done with being slightly longer to allow it to bridge the gaps in the story better. But for a passion project its on the better side. The dog was just the co-writer/director's own pet dog, so no formal acting training . It was filmed over the span of 3 years and a total of 400 filming days. His journey to make this is interesting.
It was also the director's debut with his only experience being an online course. The film was also produced by his wife.
I have been following this for a while as I got really intrigued by the film when I heard about it.
