True actually, that ******* Chinese factory that's producing everything, poorly. I guess it does match VAG after all :)

Do you blame the factory or the consumer? I think it's more of the latter than we tend to appreciate. If there wasn't demand for cheap tat then there wouldn't be any Chinese factories required.

Bought my oldest son his first car! Loads of fun to drive, I really enjoyed it :D

You look a bit young to have a kid but I guess it takes all sorts!

All jokes aside, looks like a nice little runabout for a first car. Proper way to do it IMO rather than jumping into something really expensive.

I WISH that was me in the pic!

It's a great tool for him to learn in between lessons, nice and small, easy to drive, and will last him through university too (all being well!)

Yeah... Having owned old French cars in the past, I have no intention to do so again, hopefully they're better nowadays.

But it's not cheap price wise, they're charging us premium product money, for junk.
I don't mind paying the extra when it's actually made in Germany, TUV approved and lasts - like it used to...

There's a recent thread on here, and many people have had the same experience with a multitude of known long standing brands, all of which are now Chinese owned/produced, and the quality has gone down massively, and the failure rate of parts has sky rocketed.
All of these brands were proven great quality/reliability, for 30-50-100 years - yet as soon as the production has switched over to Chinese factories, the quality/reliability has gone to ****.
So it's clearly not a coincidence when it's happening to multiple brands, that were fine before this.

Yeah exactly, so don't give them a reason, ala adding a ghost.

Yep, I forgot to mention that they stalk people's cars for later thefts.
People that can afford an RS6, can afford a garage ;) or to have one built :P

You must have nice thiefs where you live :D according to the papers, they tend to not want to leave empty handed.
To be fair we have a garage but the RS6 never fitted in it and now it’s consumed by an old 924S which I don’t think I’ve ever put a photo of on here…

Maybe when I get it running in spring

They are a big 'ol barge, but a lovely one.
I know someone who had people come in their garage to try and take theirs :(

924S is cool!

The Mrs did some mods to her Honda E:

I fitted yellow speed coilovers and she ordered Japan Racing flow formed wheels, 2-3kg lighter per corner. Handles and drives better and must say think it looks ace, properly retro yet modern. :)
