Don't do it! Get the Pro. The stock PS and Slim can barely hold 30FPS with all the eye candy turned on at 4K using 1440P chequerboarding!

I'm in Dubai and 'white fri' here...just built a rig for a friend a few weeks ago and been asked to build another. I've just looked at all the parts i bought (converting to £ equivalent from AED)...Mobo, £40 more than a month ago, 9800x3d, £50 more, 9070xt £50 more, psu up £25, ssd up £40, ram gone silly o'clock..only thing the same is the case....ffs, black fri/white fri is just one massive con...sure on the day they might drop it a little but it's going to end up more than it was a month ago...new builds for a xmas present but so i have a bit of time. Person wanting the build knows prices have risen, but i really don't want to build it for him at these prices. Feel my friend is just being scalped by everyone here!

Agreed, the "deals" have been very meh and nothing great.

Saved £130 on an iPad air 256GB which is for my son for Christmas and I got a RTX 5080. This was to replace a GPU that was sent back due to a fault so not really something I was planning on buying

I have not bothered upgrading my HDD in the Plex server due to the stupid prices on HDDs so shucked an external HDD and stuck that in (3TB) for the time being until prices go back to normal.
