Heated grips AND heated gloves for me. Only way I can keep riding lol! The ZX10R is now away until spring (got out last Sunday though), the ZX-9R has come out for winter duties. At least it will at the weekend when I put the battery back on her.

Today's billy-bargain. Knox Aegis 9 plate back protector. £30. Nice.

Was that price for the BP a one off, or can they still be had for that price somewhere?

This looks brilliant, but not sure if I would like that information in front of my vision.

There was some talk about something similar years ago, dunno what happened to it.

I'm really keen on somehting like this; just need it to be less than £1000 :(

I'm trying to look at questions like this from the other direction. What would you think if a heads-up display like this was the norm and now they were removing it? Just as many people would complain that they now need to take their eyes off the road to check speed etc.
There are villages I ride through with 30 or 40 limits and cameras...I'm looking up & down at the road-clocks-road-clocks so much it looks like I'm pleasuring someone.

...now that the cold is here whats everyone doing to keep their fingers from freezing off :D
Got a pair of these recently. They're not very warm but they help with the wind chill on my R9T.

My 990 Adv has guards and heated grips but my fingertips still have a painful sting with the cold. Might just buy a second set of muffs for the old orange lady.

Did my daily commute in the car twice last week and hated it. Yes, warm & cosy but traffic sucks! I'd rather have the extra 20 minutes in the office to relax with a coffee.
That said, the weather was amazing this morning and the sunrise just hits different when you're on the bike.

I nipped out on mine today. The weather was a little warmer, I wanted to keep the battery topped up and I needed some milk. So I took the looooong route to Tesco :)

I had my heated grips on, along with longer winter goretex gloves. They have a dual chamber so you can either wear them as normal with insulation above and below your hand, or put your hand in the lower chamber so there is double insulation on the back of your hand and no insulation on your palm. They are ideal for heated grips. My hand guards also help a lot as they keep the wind blast off y9our hands. Maybe you could take a look at the Keis G102 heated glove liners rather than completely new gloves?
