Ghost Of Yotei 8.5/10 - I really enjoyed it, yes it's more of the same, but very well executed with plenty to do without turning into a Ubi grind. Graphics and Soundtrack are superb and very atmospheric too.

Satisfactory - 10/10
I am biased. Been playing the PC version for years since alpha days and followed the devs heavily throughout their journey with the game. Seeing such a brilliant title on the console that has such a superb control scheme is a joy to see. Just finished the research tiers with 111hrs played, which I did rush towards the end. Still got a ton of stuff to do though ie improve on power generation and finish the Ficsmas Christmas event!

RDR2 - finally got around to playing it after refusing to play at 30 FPS on playstation for years. Managed to complete it on my Legion Go S averaging above 40 FPS which was perfect with the VRR screen. Amazing game. I played the original RDR years ago and didn't like it much but loved this one. The level of detail in this game is unreal. 9.5/10

Ohhh, interesting. Didn't realise that was on console.

I've got Factorio for my PC and thought if I bought Satisfactory on there I wouldn't play it.

Been looking for a PS5 game for over Christmas though.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
10/10 - I loved this from start to finish (even if a couple of the rifts were preposterously hard)

It really vibes on Revenge but the platforming feels like Bionic Commando Rearmed (i.e. extremely precise).

It Takes Two - PS5. 8/10.

Played with wifey who is a non-gamer - so very frustrating at times, but fun watching her getting better!

Great story and effects so kept wifey interested - she has NEVER been interested in gaming. So much so, she has asked what we are playing next!

Split Fiction or A Way Out?!

Red Dead Redemption 1 - Talk to a NPC, ride your horse for 10 minutes across a barren landscape, auto aim lock on kill tons of enemies then repeat for 20 hours.

People rave about how good the story is but most of the characters in the game just waste your time asking you to do one more pointless favour over and over again. Also, considering how many hundreds of enemies you mow down with relative ease during the game the ending makes no sense.

Voice acting is top notch.

Very disappointing game considering RDR 2 is one of my favourite games.

3/5

You make some good points. I however much preferred RDR 1 to 2. Its probably in my top 5 of all time. I felt RDR 2 was just a more tedious version of 1, I think it improved every aspect of the game over 1 with the exception of the core game play loop.

Robocop Rogue City - 8/10. Quite short but very fun. Really gives a good feeling of being Robocop, basically a walking tank taking out numerous bad guys

Playing Split Fiction with my non gamer OH and it's great. Completely with you on the frustration though :p

Might do the opposite and try ITT after this!

Some say AWO can be boring in places? Whereas i have read SF is better than ITT!

Hence why i went with SF first. I do want us to play AWO though at some point.

SF is pretty constant in terms of gameplay with different challenges consistently. Only boring place is waiting for your OH to catch you up
