Pluribus | Apple TV+

Overall enjoyed this season, something new that is different to what we've been getting last few years.

Hopefully they officially announce a s2 soon and doesn't take too long to film.

I think it's been great.

I can handle the realism that goes along with the first meet up between Mr Paranoia, and Mrs Misanthrope, who is right in the middle of being seduced by the hive. Glad the show runners stuck to this being an awkward frustrating initial get together, rather than being an immediate gelling of minds. Hope it won't be too long for season 2.

I've enjoyed it but won't deny there has been a few boring moments. I am just not sure where they go from here besides the obvious really. I really thought Carol and Zosia were going to kiss a few times in the last few episodes!

They bonked each other in episode 8.... it started with a full on snog too., how you miss that?

I've gotta binge catch-up on this but the fact I'm here reading spoilers is proof to myself I don't even really care that much.

Once you start giving up on this you'll start seeing it from a different angle
Can you expand on this? I'm not sure what you mean?

The show has telegraphed all the mystery out of it. I spoiler'd some pages back where I think the show is heading and thus far, it seems right on-track.

I actually enjoyed the series. I don’t mind slow burners but if there is no series 2 then that’ll annoy me.

They have already agreed to a season 2 when the contract for the first season was green lit. I thought it was an okay show, but far too slow to be the ground breaking amazing show some of the reviews made it out to be. The main actor is very good in it though! Need to check out some of her other shows.

That was an absolute masterpiece. Loved every bloody second of it. So many themes touched on which had their own 2 or 3-episode segments then the whole tone just shifted again. If you've ever read Stephen King's The Stand, Pluribus is the first time someone's been able to do a decent job of it on screen. Carol even visits Flagstaff at one point. No allegories to politics or religion, just resistance, desire, loss and manipulation and Rhea Seehorn.

I am guessing that a lot of the folk who don’t enjoy it, didn’t like The Prisoner or Twin Peaks either.

Really don’t get the love. Such a dull series. Every scene just drags on too long. Found myself skipping ahead a lot to get to something of note.

I hadn't noticed this thread until after I just finished watching it, I must have been watching something different to everyone else as I thought it was self indulgent crap.

Far too long and far to repetitive. About six episodes too long. As for episode 7, you may as well watch a video of a fireplace on you tube for 45 minutes instead and you would still be in the same place in the story at the start of 8.

I'm still struggling tbh. Yes the cinematography and all is great, but it's SO SLOW! What happened in ep7? Not a lot.

I find myself skipping forward quite a bit at times for something to happen.
LOl wish I had seen this before I started watching. Episode 7 is just taking the living urine.
