You do have to think what kind of life form would have such rigid rules in its own sustainability that it will literally kill itself In a relatively short period of time?

Unless thats obviously the point, removing intelligent, sufficiently advanced, threat species in a dark forest kind of way.

Though i guess you could just order yourself to commit suicide of that was the case :p

The Aliens will need the sentient species to build a sufficiently powerful "phone home" antenna first, before they top themselves leaving all other resources in pristine condition, to let the Aliens know they have a winner and set off to claim in their no doubt FTL spaceships.

in fairness one you have say 90% of the people die off, you got a pretty sound base for life to go on, my question is do they breed ?

Weakest episode so far for me, didn't need a full episodes runtime for the 2 stories we got so far, will be interesting to see how next weeks episode is with how this weeks ended.

I enjoyed that episode, I can imagine some people's heads exploding with frustration watching it though
yeah. Lots of negative post on Reddit about it. Summarised by saying its the Tiktok crew who are saying its boring. No attention span. I know a few here are saying its slow, I was on the fence early into the series about it being slow but looking back I found it not slow at all. Each episode is flying by. Taking it all in, cinemaphotography, set pieces, the emptiness of the whole thing (locations, minimal actors etc). To me adds to the story.

Showing the hiking adventure through the Gap was fantastic.

It does a good job showing the abject loneliness one would experience in that situation.

I’m sorry but this has been utterly awful so far. I’m watching the rest to how much worse it can get.

Watching episode 2 as I type and am enjoying it.

They’re on Air Force One and an American is trying to tell people from other countries what to do and how they feel. Made me laugh.

That last episode actually left me wanting to watch it again. I don't have TokTik on my phone, I don't know if that has something to do with it.
