Ol-dee
I know that i am right.
I say al-dee often with an s lol. “Lets go to al-dees”
I still struggle to tell the difference between aldi and Lidl. I know one of them sells fresh pastries….
I've never heard anybody say Aldi with an s, but I know some of us say Tescos rather than Tesco. I suppose it rolls off the tongue better than other names with an s at the end.I say al-dee often with an s lol.
I've seen this a couple times too. Disgusting honestly. It's a self serve type thing with bags and tongs, but the amount of unwashed cretins I've seen manhandling things and putting them back is unreal, or worse doing so after dropping them on the floor.
Careful you're going to blow some people's minds revealing there's 2 different Aldis!having done some work with both Nord and Süd its defiantly Al-D
Lidl has a bakery section with fresh (ish) goods, but while I do like Lidl I tend to avoid that particular part. I tend to avoid most of the self service type things, it’s the same with the open pick and mix, Krispy kreme section at Tesco etc.
I can tolerate bananas as they’re protected but anything else like fruit, say apples I buy sealed packs.
This!!!!!!!!I don't think I've ever heard anyone pronounce it as Oldie
