**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

It's the same when we undervolt GPU too, I've had game stability in 1 game that unstable magically fix itself just by setting Afterburner back to default settings from an otherwise stable undervolt

This is why I don’t bother overclocking or underclocking; not worth the hassle to save a few watts or gain a few more FPS, modern hardware runs close to their max limits now anyway. My system runs 24/7, and I haven’t seen a BSOD in quite a few years.

Last time I saw one was because of a faulty 24-pin cable, and the 3V rail dropped to very low levels.

Just think of the amount of people thinking it was their hardware having issues when it turned out to be a recalled driver

Me personally if my system is completely stable and I get a crash after installing a new driver, I tend to put that towards the driver or just an iffy quirk of the game.

Crashes can happen at any point.. System lock ups however are different

ffs I jinxed it!

I've never had a driver hang on this card before!

So much for the new drivers :cry:

I've upped the volts from 1.035 to 1.050. Might just be a less tolerant driver :)

Played an hour or more so far so good

I wonder if they'll bring a new Studio version out soon as they did have a new Studio version out a few days ago but then pulled it along with the GRD, Wondering if they're going to wait for a new branch to release it and actually test it properly this time like Studios are meant to be :D

I used to have a problem with running a couple of Ubisoft games on latest drivers and kept to a version that is like 566 or something, to play Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar. Has the issues where the game freezing and crashing mid game been fixed yet? Wasn't happening on older driver.

Been playing Outlaws recently on my 5090 with the Hotfix, No crashes and smooth as butter.
