Samsung Galaxy S26 Family Thread

Looks like Samsung Slim magnet case is due to be delivered today, initially was 17/05, then 31/05 estimate.

Anyone got one? Reviews on Amazon aren't flattering so tempted to just chuck it on eBay.

I had a free one with the phone, the clear slim magnetic case but there was an issue with it and I got a voucher for replacement, I bought the light blue one and I really like it.
Spigen optik armor for work, samsung slim magnetic case for out of work.

Not a fan of the buds 4 Pro, noise cancellation is weak even when maxed. It's a good fit, not loose at all. Weird.

Walking about I could hear almost everything, ANC is working but its not doing much.
I'm experiencing the opposite; I find the ANC very good. It's on par with the Sony WF-XM5.

As long as you don't sabotage the case's packaging and it's inside of 1 month, Amazon will let you return the case (if it's from Amazon). I'm already on my 2nd case on my S26U and was able to return the 1st one no probs. I picked the 2nd case because it has a slidey door thing on the back that covers the camera lenses for you when you're not using the rear cameras. Some assurance when placing the phone on the table etc.

I just had an email from Samsung to say that my £400 trade-in of the S23U is now complete. I've never used a screen protector as I've never been able to apply those damn things, but all good from Samsung. The same with my S20U > S23U 3 years ago. The S20U also traded in fine.

Cheers @Nexus18 for the camera article 3 posts up. Will have a look. It's a heads up btw that the video camera defaults to 1080p. I went to a gig 1.5 weeks ago and only realised once back at home that the videos were in 1080p, but at least it's defaulting to 60 frames, not 30.

Just picked up a S26U what are people using screen protector wise (ESR etc) and is anyone using the protectors for the rear camera lenses?

I use a Torras screen protector, which is extremely easy to apply and does a great job. They are a little more expensive than some, but I've tried others and these are superior. I went for the standard version, so they are very reflective, which is the only negative thing I would say. I believe they do a anti-reflection version, but you obviously pay more.
I don't use anything on the rear camera lenses and never have done in all my years using Samsung phones.

Thanks. You’re spot on re AR protector from them I think the cheapest I’ve seen is £35 for a 2pck. They do a Lena guard option as well I see. The Q3 air looks solid as well though pricey.

I'm using this case. It has a slidey door thing to cover the rear camera lenses for when placing the phone on a table or in a pocket. Different colours available.

That looks similar to the spigen optik which I’ve considered but I quite like the spigen nano pop.

I appreciate both of your replies.

The Pixel 10 Pro is the preferable option, given that custom ROM support should be available by the time Samsung ceases software updates.

Using a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case and Glass.Tr Screen protector. Fits perfectly with one another.

No specific camera lense protection, case has a lip so that the lenses won't be in direct contact with a surface when phone is placed down.

I grabbed the torras Qstabd q3 air, smart devil Ar screen protector after good reviews and a ER lens protector. Mind you I’ve not installed any of it yet or used the phone as I’m still waiting.for the case to turn up

What's the general feeling towards the s26 Ultra screen? I've been thinking about purchasing it, but I've been hearing from people that due to the new privacy display tech, the display quality isn't as good as last years s25?
