Facebook will soon require a passkey

I have mine filled with allsorts related to my hobbies. Always something to read and comment on. Occasionally I will get some Flat earther group filter through that i open up read, rage and regret! Other than that, I too, know how to use Facebook.

It completely amazes me that all the supposed geeks on here don't know how to have in their feed what they want.
For me it's an amazing tool of help and advice along with Reddit and OCUK.

I agree. To be honest I only ever follow local groups on there, which has been really helpful.

The band Ghost
and then several funny sites like Unpopular Guitarpinions and Canal Boats.

Yep I had that today and that was through Twitter!! Quick refresh and it was gone.

WTF :mad: So it's not just Facebook doing it
 
This is one implementation I'm not a fan of - I've had to do some tweaking to prevent Amazon constantly asking for it.

On Firefox you can prevent sites from being able to prompt for it by changing security.webauth.webauthn in about:config to false, though how long that will last I don't know - it shouldn't really be a mandatory requirement IMO.

I’ve had a passkey set up with facebook since June 25, I set up passkeys on as many sites as I can, the more that move over to them the better, way better than passwords.

All well and good but I couldn't do it through my computer.... When I tried to set up a passkey through Windows it kept asking me to login to a business or work account.

and now it says this when I click manage
