It's too hot :(

Think I'm going to try a new tactic in the coming heatwave...

Normally, we open the lounge windows and position the fan to blow towards sofa by windows.

Going to try keeping windows closed and position fan to blow air into hallway, thinking it might extract heat from TV, PlayStation and PC when turned on.

This weekend is going to be a shock to the system, a week of typically sub 15C with showers being replaced with 29C scorchio!

Jesus it's going to be high 20s. Try going somewhere that's properly hot.
Forecast for Sun/Monday is showing low 30s in some parts of the country.

The UK isn't designed to handle this heat unlike some hot countries, especially when we're building all of these crappy new builds that are basically greenhouses in the summer.

To be honest, I'm not bothered during the day, but it's quite irritating at night when we're trying to sleep and it still hasn't cooled down enough. Sunday night's forecast showing 21 degrees at 10pm... that is awful.

I've always counted myself lucky that even a low speed fan pushing a breeze across me is enough for me to be comfortable at night in the summer. Though I do kind of regret not having AC installed in my room when they did the rest of the house.

Is it possible to look at getting it installed in the future? Highly worth it. I had AC installed in the office a couple years ago. A life saver in these heatwaves.

My neighbour had theirs installed last year. I am going to be extremely envious for the next week or so. I have AC in one room but it's the most useless of them all - in the conservatory!!
