DRAM Error

I bought all new components on Amazon.

AORUS B650E Stealth ICE
Corsair 2x32GB 5600MHz DDR5
Ryzen 9 9950X3D

On first launch i saw red indicator DRAM.
I updated bios through qflash plus, clear cmos, but it’s not helped me.

Help me please
 
How long do you wait? First boot can take a very long time, e.g. 10+ minutes.

Is the RAM in the correct slots (according to the manual, usually slot 2 and 4)?

What is the CPU cooler? Is there any chance it is too tight/loose/uneven?

I waited around 30 mins, yes ram in A2 and B2. I tried replace ram. On CPU - Corsair Nautilus 360
 
Have you tried each stick, on its own, in each slot making sure to leave it for the 5/10 minutes to train each time?

Laborious but it will tell you what stick is bad, if it appears to be both then that'd be unusual and could potentially be a different issue.

Yes, I tried running one RAM at a time, one by one, but the DRAM indicator always lights up immediately. I'm now blaming the CPU or the motherboard.

Take the CPU out and carefully examine the motherboard socket, take some high resolution photos and post them here.

If it's the motherboard it could be a pin issue, which is a fairly quick thing to check given what you've tried.

You might have been careful, but there's always the chance there was already a problem with the pins not related to anything you've done.

Sometimes wonky/missing pins can be hard to spot.

It means you have no RAM installed.

You could really do with another known working stick to test, if you can somehow get access to one.

I've looked over the pic and can't see anything wrong.

Are you 100% certain everything was new? Amazon can sometimes be iffy with computer parts, and has been known to relist used components as new which have been fiddled with. While one stick of RAM being faulty isn't super rare both being kaput is another matter. Have you tried individual sticks of memory in non-primary slots, aka both A1 and B1? Although I find that an even less likely area of fault.

Ruling everything out it's difficult to know where the problem is, if you can borrow or source some cheap DDR5 as mentioned above you could test with it, the same with the CPU as it could be the memory controller (which is on the CPU with AM5).

I think in your position if you've only just purchased from Amazon, I'd simply return the lot and look at buying from elsewhere. They've a pretty easy returns policy and it wont cost you anything to do so par time, and trying to figure out which part is at fault could result in more wasted time in of itself.

Opt for a B850 revision motherboard this time to boot, that'll ensure you've support for the 9950X3D out of the box.
 
Red LED also relates to CPU not RAM, and a DOA CPU is not uncommon, if it never progresses past red at all, then you have a CPU problem or a motherboard problem, my first port of call there would be as others have said would be to check the CPU, the socket and also the wiring from your PSU to the motherboard, try breadboarding it, just PSU, Board, CPU and RAM

If it was memory training the LED would be orange / Amber, whatever you want to describe the colour as.

Just looked this up and you are correct.

RED - CPU
YELLOW - DRAM
WHITE - VGA
GREEN - BOOT
 
Which bios do you update too (version), being its b650e that will not have support for 9950x3d, you have to pick the bios that lists cpu support, and never update to beta bios's

both versions above add suppot for new cpu's and add better ram compatibility
