It's too hot :(

Its probably time for joe the public to start looking at aircon for their homes here in the Uk, I honestly feel, its beginning to reach that stage where it would be worth it.
I feel they need to be in new builds as standard now as well, same way heating is standard.

If I remember right, you in the west and heat tolerant? for me I have probably needed a/c for about 5 years, but finally am now putting the wheels in motion. When it all starts in May its a real alarm bell.

a/c is ordered so I know size of hole required, then as soon as that work is done, it will probably be on all day every day, and will just suck up the electric cost.

I'm heat tolerant... Until I'm not.
If I have water I will just sweat. It's gross. So it's only OK if I'm at home.

In an office etc it's a completely different story. As I'll sweat in anything remotely restrictive. Went to a wedding a yeatago and it was 30. In that suit? I had to take an entire change of clothes it was gross. Like I genuinely just wanted to leave.

But if I'm in shorts, my capilene tops etc I can take a lot of heat. But also.. If I do hill walking? I'll sweat. Immediately much more than most people. It keeps me cook but it's gross.

I can take the heat when I'm still (ie at my desk or sleeping) but those hills? I can sweat in 0C if I'm hill walking.

But yes. Moving to Wales and access to the sea is a game changer.

I'd hate it as much as others if I was in London or something.

If we start installing air 2 air heat pumps for summer cooling are the energy demands for winter heating going to be transferred to summer.
martyn will have bragging rights from spain when his installed ... any existing owners can share the vital stats ?

Our Cambs water pressure is consistently dropping off a cliff about 7pm - either that is when the farmers start irrigating or gardeners,
but haven't seen and neighbours doing it

Still near 30c here, and a moderate thundestorm warning (but no sign of it apart from a few clouds in the distance)

I am praying the overnight prediction is true, its apparently going to dip a lot more during early hours, and peak temp tomorrow will be about 10C down, which will still be a bit over 20C, I will believe it when I feel and see it.

Just refreshed metoeragram (MET source), yeah its been revised upwards, now only a 5C drop, about 26C. Also Thursday was originally going to be a match for Wednesday and is now predicted to be almost as hot as today. :(

Its probably yet another high blocker, we seem to have them almost constant now.
