It's too hot :(

No thanks come back to 30c inside very uncomfortable, terrible walking around town feeling like furnace is in front of me

No AC but I'll get one of them higher quality standing fans which are silent to bring some relief in the night

I'm in the 'far too hot' camp. I have a portable AC unit which is amazing but it's not quite right and making a hell of a racket at night so we can cool the room down but there's no way we can sleep with it, awaiting warranty on it but it's not going back until the heat is over!

Its probably time for joe the public to start looking at aircon for their homes here in the Uk, I honestly feel, its beginning to reach that stage where it would be worth it.
Not yet.. But soon.
If I had a solar set up I'd consider it. Something for the next house maybe.

Heard thunder in distance, there is now clouds, but its the usual bad luck.
Almost full 360 round my city is rainfall or has been rainfall, in my city radius, completely dry on MET tracker.
Storm tracker shows lighting to the east and moving east. No historical tracker on it. But does have minus 1 hour and minus 24 h with no dots over my city.

Another day of surrounding areas getting a shower, whilst in drought conditions here.

Need some rain, wind and cold air. Bone dry outside, no air movement, just heat.

Popped to Argos around 6 to pick up some binoculars. Never seen such a big queue inside there! Mostly the expected; buying fans, pools, garden chairs, water based products... People really do leave it until the last minute once we have the weather.

If I remember right, you in the west and heat tolerant? for me I have probably needed a/c for about 5 years, but finally am now putting the wheels in motion. When it all starts in May its a real alarm bell.

a/c is ordered so I know size of hole required, then as soon as that work is done, it will probably be on all day every day, and will just suck up the electric cost.
