yes i do love magsafe, but added it the the pro 8 via a case
 
I upgraded to the pixel10 pro xl end of last year so ill probably wait a few generations again. I had the 6 pro xl before that so I think 4 years and you really feel the difference in tech.

The real question is if the MediaTek M90 will actually perform better. On paper it sounds good but we'll have to wait to see it on the phone to see how it actually performs.

I'm hoping this is wrong because the G5 uses the DXT architecture which is newer than the rumoured G6's CXTP architecture. If anything it feels like a step backwards. It's cool to see the CPU side is improving, but it feels imbalanced with the GPU side potentially holding it back.

It can't get much worse than whats in there already. It's a hot power hungry mess.

I'm still liking my pixel 9 pro XL. The only thing I'd consider moving to actually is a foldable as I used my friend's and have to say that extra space when travelling or wanting to catch up on a teams meeting and be able to take some notes was really cool.

Only issue is the camera performance of foldable is less good. I mainly use my phone for photos, payments, and a bit of work / personal admin. I don't game.

I do like the pure android experience.

But I wonder if things like Oppo and others now may offer better camera capabilities.

I know Google rely on compute post processing but it would be nice to have higher quality/performance camera hardware too.
 
Have to say from the rumours I'm tempted to switch from pixel to the oppo x9 ultra. The camera is the main reason for my phone. But I'll wait and see what the specs are of the 11 first.

Phones are so samey now, really, the only thing that makes any difference to me is the camera.

Everything else is much of a muchness

For me I use the camera the most, but also battery life is a key thing for me.

The pixel 11 so far seems to be a minor bump in camera hardware, although the 2nm architecture should help with power consumption and so on, and I do love the pixel android experience, having had a go on my friend's Oppo x9 Ultra (he got it about a month ago or so so it's brand new) and I have to say it didn't feel alien, and the camera was quite exceptional. He manages to get 1.5 days out of it with modest use too.
 
Might switch phone if it has much better battery life, but the think I most want to see is the new watch, and what improvements it will bring (health and fitness wise)

looks exceptional from a camera perceptive - but one ugly looking phone overall... :cry:

I can't see the battery life being much of an improvement without a meaningful jump in battery size.

I don't care how the phone looks I care how it does what I'm interested in! :p

I've had pixels since they were called Nexus. But I'm losing my love for them focussing on software (which admittedly is very good) and not investing enough on hardware especially when you're paying over £1k for the top spec (pro XL) version.
