Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

Am I bailing then or not?? :cry:

Of course I'm hoping you're all wrong. If it does go south what do you think the recovery time would be? 5 years? I know it's crystal ball stuffs. Thinking would I recover quicker if I bailed, invested in an ETF for now then if I'm brave enough put back into semiconductors if the cycle turns back to an upward trajectory.

I saw that USA / IRAN has kicked off again too. Doubt that'll help my cause out either...

you cant time these things really. if your worried ither pull out of DCA in.

i can tell you though that September 19th at 8:55pm and 55 seconds something will happen and the market on Monday will drop a substantial amount globally.
and its going to take 3years 4months, 2weeks, and untill the wednesday 1022am to recover.
so you dont need to worry you have some time frames to work with.

so you have 2months being safe.

If you've bought single stocks it could be never obviously.
But if it's an etf it'll recover in time. But it's impossible to say if it'll be a few months or many years
 
my S&S ISA has taken a pounding the last weeks/months but to be expected after a relatively smooth 2 years. In it for the long haul so just ride it out!
