But at what cost?
Hells teethCancelled our incoming stock for now, two reasons some compatibility issues but also pricing that was nothing short of daylight robbery, lets just say 32GB kits would have been retailing around £1000, until they review pricing the ULL from G.Skill is on hold.

still waiting for 6kc26 kits to be in stock if they ever do come backPrice trend still remain upwards.
Its basically all about trying to hunt down old stocks at distribution or see if a manufacturer has been sitting on old stock and wants to do a deal.
OcUK has 32GB kits from £299-£359 from many brands, even including super low latency 6000MHz C28 parts, which no competitor can get close too, were about £100 cheaper on low-latency 6000MHz kits with guaranteed SK-Hynix IC.

We can get G.Skill but 32Gb C26 will be about £1200 now and 64Gb £2500
is the Ai industry paying these prices?? are the v-colour and klevv's ic's binned as well as the 6kc26 part??We can get G.Skill but 32Gb C26 will be about £1200 now and 64Gb £2500
We have V-Colour and Klevv C28 same IC as G.Skill so can probably be tweaked down to C26 and these are under £350 for 32Gb kits
You’d have to be crazy to pay nearly four times more for the exact same thing as these are all made by SK Hynix who are now the highest quality IC and best for clocking.
Sweet lord.

It really saddens me to see whats happening, i rarely play games but i still want a highend PC to tweak, tinker and have a bit of fun with but no so sure i wanna sell a kidney to continue with my hobby. Can't see me buying another GPU as the way things are either. Crazy, how times have changed.
thanks for the breakdown @Gibbo, i have Klevv's in my system currently, just raw [email protected] no expo, no xmp but can run 6600c26 no bother, they just don't wanna play at 8000+ but they did pretty well on my 13900KS, unless your binning many kits nothing appears to match the g.skill 6000c26 kits on ryzen/Apex, those boards bios are without question tailored for that particular kit. So im either gonna have to wait it out(for a long time!) or pay the money it seemsWell Klevv is SK-Hynix a little like Crucial was Micron. Micron closed down the Crucial Retail outlet. SK-Hynix made the decision to keep KLEVV and to focus on consumer, it is working for them as KLEVV is selling like crazy for us as those in the know understand it is SK-Hynix so the quality is guaranteed. So any Klevv module will be rather tweakable.
V-Color like G.Skill generally work exclusively with SK-Hynix for IC supply with it been the best on the market for overclockability and outright performance, so the V-Color modules tend to overclock and tweak nicely also.
Basically in this new world, the memory market has been turned upside down and I'd personally rate brands as follows:
1. KLEVV (SK-Hynix)
2. V-Color (SK-Hynix)
3. G.Skill (Mainly SK-Hynix)
4. Patriot (Sk-Hynix, Micron, Samsung)
5. Kingston (SK-Hynix, Micron, Samsung))
6. Adata (SK-Hynix, Micron, Samsung)
7. TeamGroup (SK-Hynix, Micron, Samsung)
8. Corsair (SK-Hynix, Micron, Samsung, CMXT)
9. Lexar (CMXT, Micron)
In current market from quality, performance and value prospect I feel KLEVV, V-Color and Patriot are unbeatable right now if you want 6000MHz C30 or C28 memory, OcUK has several SKU's from these vendors around £350.
I'd like to promote G.Skill but feel they have become very greedy, if V-Color can offer a C28 6000MHz SKU for around £350, then I'd expect G.Skill to be relatively close but at twice the cost for essentially same product, tough pill to swallow.
Kingston and Adata do have some fantastic value options still at lower speed frequencies.
Anything using CXMT I'd not touch it unless it was at least around 30-40% cheaper than equivalent SK-Hynix SKU.
