Tabletop Warhammer?

Is that the AK real markers or play markers?

They’re specific metallic ones. Like it says AK1301 Gold, pure metallic liquid pigment.

Just finished assembling the Plague Marine Sarge I started the other night and one whole Plague Marine. I was going to go light one the clean up but the mould lines are very heavy and look worse with magnifying glasses on. Five left to do, so only another two weeks at this rate :D.

Hey Guys still alive here, now that the heat has cooled off a bit here managed to get the cogfort finished, just need to paint the crew members tomorrow hopefully.

Very pleased how it has turned out :)

I have actually finished building the Death Guard CP, just need to decide on basing. I did manage an epic display of sausage fingered fumbling as I was almost finishing the last mini and tipped the Tamiya Extre Thin over, probaly lost about 20%. Luckily I was using an old wet palette (art shop job) as a tray. Although it is styrene the glue only melted the surface (and brought it back to bright white :D) but I did have to chuck it outside for an hour to off-gas.

Now I have to build my daughter's Harlequin CP, as it is too fiddly for her, as she has chronic wrist/trendon issues due to hypermoblity.

I'm torn if building is my least favourite part or not. Only things I have left are 25% of my second Repulsor, a new Librarian I got for £10 from the new ed box and I got Dark Apostle :) Haven't painted in quite a while now, ran into some problems that are demotivating me. Also finding the Red Corsairs very difficult due to the non uniformity, having to think too much model to model. My only rule with them is the feet match the leg colour, otherwise it looks like they have little black or red booties on.

If I can into a flow it can be quite relaxing but some of the DG must be older moulds as the details looks a bit soft with quite heavy lines to clear.

Most parts fit okay but some of the arm 'keys' aren't brilliant so I let the glue do a lot of the work melting edges together.

I was initially going to do a few sub assemblies for painting but I decided to just stick it all except for the Lord Of Virulence. I am going to try painting using the 'if you can see it, it doesn't matter' method for the first time in my life :D.

Need to sort out an area I can airbrush in. Tempted to try using it on the decking for undercoat and base coat as it is going to dry for a while. If not I can make a flat area on the landing and vent out of the window there. Might get one of those flexi window seal kits you use with portable aircon and have a large fold flat box for additional over spray protection.

Cogfort all finished guys :)

Good going, I will try and get my mojo back when my son is back out of hospital. He went in a few days ago due to low blood pressure, so they want to try and give his chronic chest infection another whack before it flairs up more.

Sorry to hear that, hope he gets well soon.
