You mean the same Devs that don't really do anything anymore that's not just a knob in UE5 or simple automating optimisation done by the compiler or just use FG to get to 60fps with upscaling that we've seen Devs say few times by now already? The same talentless, lazy people who refuse to learn how to actually code things properly anymore and mostly vibecode these days? I mean, I don't blame some of them considering how they are often being treated these days by big publishers but also I don't trust them to do anything good with new tech anymore. It seems even Microsoft is ****** off with them as per the new article on video cards, when they add things to DX to speed up games and Devs just don't implement them at all. Why do people think 5k series is barely any faster than 4k series with all the fancy hardware accelerated things added to it? Because they got never implemented in games and engines so there's a lot of dead silicon on 5k series, never used. Same will happen with 6k series, I can bet - great improvements on paper and barely any in real games. How many games have RR implemented? It's a bit harder than just pressing a button and so hardly any have it. Modern AAA development is just insanely bad IMHO, don't expect them to be able to do anything good that requires some actual skill. Things like properly colour grading games, making proper faces in games even with PT, optimising things even just a bit, knowing what capabilities CPU and GPU have to actually be able to use them in code properly instead of claiming compiler will sort it out automatically (it won't!) etc. Indie manage, AA often too, AAA apparently can't...Yeah interesting tech, it's not blowing me away tbh, needs to be in the hands of dev teams that can really make full use of it and disable it on the faces![]()
It's seemingly a great "patch" to fix lazy work, bad Devs and improve cost cutting capability by publishers. Which means this will rapidly become the standard requirement in games to have them look decently, just like upscaling and FG quickly became a requirement to even reach 60fps in more and more games. And consumers let it all happen and even cheer it apparently, so those are really to blame in the end IMHO.It's to fix lighting in games where the devs didn't manage to achieve greatness? I fail to understand the use case. Or maybe a dev team can fire half the team and slap on dlss 5.0 at the end?

Good for you, but absolutely nothing to do with quoted numbers that do not lie (all come from plenty of official sources). Huge majority of modern media you can't get on a hard copy nor you can actually buy to own - that's a fact. Your anecdotal evidence changes nothing about it. This is also why Torrents etc. became again much more active recentlyMy information is good as of about an hour ago when I went into a bookshop, bought a book I wanted....then went into a music shop and bought a CD I was after

does it worth with existing reshade mods? I have one for KCD from renodx as an example.
I'm dumbfounded, this really is in the words of Mao a 'Great Leap Forward'Just tried the DLSS5 Control mod, Holy crap, This is going to open up whole new avenues for realism in gaming, Very impressive.
