Kinda shocking he would even consider submerging electrical equipment in water, I mean how stupid could he be?
Well he's an American - doesn't that say it all? :p

they'll probably sue microsoft now, for not having a warning label on it.

What? A lable that says "Not For Retards"?

Seriously tho, some kids need better education and common sense, I mean... over 14 years of his life no one told him water plus the live wires = ZAP!?

Well people have successfully sued companies and won from burning themselves from coffee because the cup didn't say "CAUTION! CONTENTS MAY BE HOT"

:p

Haha, I can picture it now on the power supply...

"MICROSOFT SAYS; do not seal in a bag and submerge in water to attempt to cool...while still plugged in"

The more you know! :)

14 years old and stupid enough to cool an electrical device with a bag and a pan of water...
I assume there is some sort of education system in North Carolina?

IDIOT!!!

Hmm, laptop's a bit warm... Time to put the adapter in the bath.

Why not cut out the middle man and just stick the laptop in the bath?

:p

Must be me but I don't think its THAT crazy for a 14 year old boy to do given all the water based cooling solutions everyone uses these days. Obviously a silly mistake but understandable for a young person listening to his friends etc.

I just can't get that scene from Black Books out of my head where Manny (Bill Bailey) is drying his hair and making toast in the bath :D
