Glad to here it's working mate. Still no joy here. Logged a support request with Steam which is what Alfred over on their forums said to do.

My god this game is so good. I've played about 4 hours already today. Only got back at around 3 from town.

Somewhere near the wharf looking for the thing you need to get past the spot ;)

I love hacking!

Most fun game I've played in so long. Just playing this has made me realise how poor most games have become lately. This reminds me of the first time I played the original Deus Ex. I was hoping for something a bit more free style but so far I'm rivetted to what I'm supposed to be doing for the Irish dude.

Big Daddies: 1, Me: 2 :D

Yeah must admit the hackings good, thought that pipe-maina crap would be rubbish, but its used great for the hacking, i hacked those 2x turrets in the Surgery. :D

Really great game, its about time we finally got a decent game to play, been nothing for months, everything about its great, graphics, the old style music etc... certainly a foot tapper. :D

YOu know with all the nice gfx and physics etc they could have resolved this issue, you know because it totally defies the laws of physics and the universe and all that ¬_¬

How? What is it? You can get waterproof torches you know.

Got this running well on full settings, but is it me or are the gfx nothing special? Kinda clunky, console port.

Some of the textures look rather poor in fact.

The Textures arnt really much to shout about, but the rest of the game looks mind blowing, the water for example.

I thought the HL2 water was mind blowing :)

BY comparison I'd say HL2 water looked more "real" whereas the Bioshock water looks a little more heavier in mass, more "oily" if you get what I mean.

Finally got it working.
Anyone on Vista getting the bioshock fov fix to work.

Followed the instructions in the readme below. I run the fix, set my fov to 0.694 on both sliders. Leave the program running. Start the game. Press * on the numpad to enable the fov fix (numlock set to on..checked that), and zilch. Looks same with or without hack.

From readme
1) Run Trainer/Hack
2) Edit options if needed
3) Start Game
4) Press Numpad * to enable new FOV settings
5) You can safely Alt-Tab from game and change settings
at any time

<edit>Should I try it with EAX set to on. It was defaulted to off and I have a X-Fi but I am sure i read somewhere this is a nogo in Vista</edit>
