anyhows, I'm looking for Big Daddy killing tips, anyone got some nice strategies on taking them down easily ?

This game in the shops yet? Just about to pop down to ASDA to pick it up. Not a big fan of FPS but this seems worth it!

Mostly because these games are liner and repetitive and imo can get boring quite easily. Still going to buy it tho, yous have bigged it up too much!

same, although he said fps, so id presume he doesn't like the shooter part rather than the fp part.

Sorry bud:p

As for killing the Big Daddy i tend to spam him with armour piercing bullets if you have some...if not then normal bullets...moving onto the buckshot electric and non electric...then machine gun him till hes dead...i managed to kill one by throwing a corpse at him...mind you he was more or less dead and i didnt have any bullets or ammo left...so kinda got lucky:p.

If you havent got ammo of the above then hit him with some incinerate plasmids...tbh i just go through all my weapons until ive wasted him.
 
well don't know about the easier levels but hard is certainly a challenge at some points. The game is everything I hoped it would be and at times has been jumping out of my seat especially when a splicer appears from out of no where.


All in all an awesome game.
 
I find electric bucks work best on the Big Daddys as it freezes them so i make sure i have plenty, managed to do a Rosie without loosing any health at all... and im playing it on hard :D

The best way i have found to kill big daddies is to spam him with Exlplosive Buck shots. Couples with some crossbow traps.

I'm playing it on hard, albeit on the PC, and I take big daddies down primarily by using the grenade launcher and proximity mines. I try to look out for a nice spot to go which is unaccessible for the big daddy and nuke him from there. If there are no unaccessible places I will wait for one to go to an area where there are cameras or turrets that can help me out. Cameras are good because he spends a lot of time trying to take the bots out as you nuke him down.
 
Heat seeking and proximity nade launchers work well on the daddies. Almost completed it, on the last level now. Seemed to have messed up the Sander achievement.
