Uni of York / york questions.

I moved from York last July after 5yrs there. As said above, the clubs are great if you want to pull an 18yr old bird who's just left the toilet sniffing continuasly or a 45yr old with breath like Godzilla.

However, the bars are quality and you can drink until 2am without having to go through the hell of dancing next to a smelly woman :)

Forgot to mention if you want good quality & safe housing then have a look at Club Easy. My mum is one of the people who house students and the reputation these guys have got is second to none.

And no this is not a sales pitch :p

Went to an open day at York 10 years ago or so. Was reasonably impressed with their setup and they seemed very clued up on dealing with disabled students - they were one of the few unis who actually actively took steps to make sure I was OK finding my way around etc (I'm visually impaired). It was one of the 6 I applied to.

However the conditional offer for my chosen course seemed a bit low (BBC/BCC or something like that) so I wasn't sure it would hold enough prestige and didn't make my final 2 choices. It was also a long way from home which at the time was a minor concern.

Someone spent too much time in Reflex.

So when are you coming out of the closet?

Revolving dancefloors are ace. Apart from the clientele that Reflex seems to attract in general other than students.

How dare you ;) I go there and I aren't a student :o Just go there on student nights.

But on a serious note that place on a fri/sat is horrific to say the least
