Just played on skirmish, it even more hecktick than online. Some much happening, helis attacking each other anti air guns ataacking each other helis then theres the armor attacking the troops, artil and aa guns, with tank busters being called in or napalm for the troops. Maybe a carpet bomb to take out a huge area.

It very optimised for the amount of fire and stuff going on.
 






Those boys felt that.. just a skirmish.. i set the teams to 5 vs 8 in their favour. We got pummeled in the end but it was worth it.
 
My god this game is a mega system killer.

Hmm I will have to check my settings tomorrow but I have been playing this for 2 days straight on setup in sig and it runs sweet as. The only slow down seems to come from the nuke but hey I can live with that.

Really impressed and can't wait for the retail. I haven't spoken myself but I have heard a couple of people over the in game comms and it is extremely clear too. Managed to get to 62 tactical points before giving in and going for the carpet bomb as we were so close to winning. Think I got a tank....lol :p
 
Am i missing something here the game seems boring after
about 2 rounds.

How can leveling buildings, trees, leccy pylons and all manner of military hardware be boring? :D

As for the explosions, well they just rock. Those sneaky little anti tank soldiers and the enemy helos drive me nuts though.

Dont know, sounds like your missing out on quite a lot. Apart from the obvious that the demo is only one map, 2 rounds means youve not used 2 of the possible other factions, or 6 other available options if you factor in the 2 sides, of which i believe there are 3 in the full game.

Then if you factor in its multiplayer side of things, its pretty much like CSS. Playing against other people mean no two matches are identical.. its all about how you formulate and execute your strategy and adapt to others strategies.
 
Im getting the SP freeze in the mission too, Videos just locks up and a hard manual reset is required.

Cant even get a crash log to see whats going on, my guess is driver related
 
Since I pre-ordered do I get early name registration or something? I already have an account on it from the beta but was just wondering.
 
Anyone one experienced this demo crashing during the single player mission?

Apparently there is a debug.txt or something in the folder in your My Documents. If you have a read of that does it shed any light?
 
Yer i just launched my first nuke actually it was 2. :D:D I was doing really well in air type taking out the support placments etc.

Is it posible to play over a LAN in the demo? I hear there is only a MP and a singleplayer skirmish.

I would expect the full game to have it all included though.
