Right I dont wanna be that guy...but

Hmm is the wii also the cheapest of the three i see a pattern emerging here.
So the most expensive is the least purchased doesn't take a genius to figure out why.
Can't off the top of my head think of any game on all three systems
that will make me purchase one yet.
Until i see a lagless tekken or virtua fighter doa online game
am not interested every other genre is better on the pc online.

Of course it is, it's impossible to say for a fact that there aren't any good games as it's down to opinion. However, the vast majority would agree with me that there really isn't the list of necessary games on the console.

Glad you like it. I think it's appalling, unoriginal, dull, thoughtless, generic with average audio, poor soundtrack, poor voice work, average to poor textures, little shader effects, uninspiring character design and incredibly average environmental design and completely linear gameplay. As I say, it's all down to opinion.

When did I ever say other peoples opinions don't count? I take it you don't support any team from any sport, because God forbid you should ever meet anyone who supports anyone different from yourself...

Personally I really can't see where you're coming from. If everyone thought as you described there would be no conversation in the world.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is 2008, most of the others are way off and Killzone 3 hasn't even been announced yet...

:eek: Did RFOM kidnap your family or summat??? I know its down to opinion but did you really think it was that bad??? :eek: I thought (& nearly all of the PS3 community) that it was the complete oppsoite to everything you just said! Bring on the Rise Of !!

I genuinely feel that way. I honestly can't think of one single thing that it brought to the table. IT was a completely mindless shooter, it was just 100% soulless. It's the most over-hyped, under-delivering game I've ever played.

And to think I wanted a PS3 for it :(.

It'll be an easy decision as most of them won't be out this Autumn, the one that is out is average to good at best and one of them isn't even a game :D

MGS4 - Slated for early 2008 release.

Afrika - It seems to be a sim of some sort, doesn't look very good. No release date.

FF XIII - Due late Q1/early Q2 2008.

GT5 - Due late Q1/early Q2 2008.

The getaway - Due late Q1/early Q2 2008.

Heavenly Sword - Average reviews of 7.3/10 from the press and 7.7 from users, a good game but nothing amazing.

Killzone 3 - I assume you meant 2, supposed to be out in 2008.

Lair - Looks like this one will be out in October.

Motorstorm 2 - Hasn't even been announced.

Naughty Dog - Erm, it's not even a game?

Ratchet and clank - November 2007.

R:ROM - 'Your search yielded no product results. ' Well, erm... good luck getting it in the next 3 months.

Tekken 6 - Q1 2008

Warhawk - This should be out next month.

Ok, that doesn't look bad. Out September as well.

It just annoys me when people post blatant lies. Although I must admit that I will probably buy a PS3 at some point, not until MGS4, Tekken 6 and FF XIII are out and reviewed though.
 
UT3 may be a brilliant game, but it may not be on the 360 or the PS3.

PS3 owners think there is going to be a gaming revolution with keyboard and mouse on the PS3. I don't think so.

I'm looking forward to UT3, but i'll be playing on the best platform, which is PC.
 
nothing has come close to players online in Halo2 or the amount of time played in multiplayer or length of time its been No1 played game online for a console game, Halo 3 will be the same

you can use keyboard and mouse for FPS on 360.
 
cool a 360 vs ps3 thread....ill load up.

How about killzone2's one demo level at GC taking up 2gig on its own. Quality sure does show in that game when there are no limits.

This has been debated before, 2gb for 1 level doesnt mean that thats going to be 2gb for each level in Killzone 2. So 2gb x number of levels.

That 2gb will hold a lot of reusable data and algorithms, textures and sounds. And the the Engine which the game runs under.
