Will 2x 2600XT be able to run a 22inch moniter?

i was under the impression that the 128 bit is crippled at the native res of a 22" monitor? is this correct? and just because there are 2 doesnt mean its doubled.

imho 1 card is always better than 2

this is the last time im gonna say this on this thread so read well...

the 2600 performances very well even at 1680x1050. on bioshock at 1680x1050 i get between 40-60fps in dx9 and between 30-40 fps in dx10 on 1 card. with 2 cards it gives u a 90% boost in performance.. bioshock doesn't use crossfire yet thats because of the driver. im not saying this just because i like ati. im saying this because i own 2 2600 so i should know how well they performance... i agree it isn't the best card but for the price its very good

well i say go for 2x 2600xt or 1 1950...

with the 2600xt it shares the system memory too which helps .. not sure if the 1950 does it too..

Even the HD2900XT seems to share system memory.

It's got mine showing total available graphics memory as 1278mb and shared system memory of 766mb.

I believe Nvidia cards do that in Vista as well, seen it on all the machines I've poked around with at work that have Vista on. It's just an idiosyncracy of Vista.
