Crysis Single Player Demo on September 25th!

To be honest i'm not really that bothered in the slightest. I'll only be interested to see what the AI is actuallly like, if its crap i'll not bother buying the game. I've just got a feeling it'll be crap farcry AI with jazzed up gfx.

I really do think that if the network code is strong it'll end up being a far better online game than SP.
 
After seeing a few of the videos, most memorably, the carrier battles, I have been looking forward to this game more so than any other. So chuffed we will get a demo next month!

As for the surprise? Thousands of people who upgraded specifically for this game will realise they really didn't have to...

This is the best news ive herd in ages.

im backpacking round the world for a year in late oct. was worrying i wouldnt be able to play crysis for 11 months.

at least now i will get a taster, see what all the fuss was about :D:D:D
 
I'm looking forward to trying it but I get a really bad feeling that it's going to be utter disappointment - slap me now :) I suppose I'm waiting for the next Deus Ex style game to blow me sideways but it hasn't arrived yet.
 
Oh yeah, i always found that one kinda cheesy. Reminded me of the king kong remake from the 70's or early 80's where at the end he's fighting helicoptor gunships. Theyre able to engage hundreds of yards away in hover mode yet they just happen to fly in to within 10 feet or so, just so kong can take a few out. Same thing in that vid with the gunship flying upto the walker for no reason. :o
 
I give it a week after the downloads are out for anyone with paid subscriptions to be able to get hold of it at a decent speed :p

Can't wait for this :D
