OcUK Motors - gaming scene?

Forza 2 and Dirt for me :) . Can't drive in any of them but they are a right laugh :D .

PGR 4 is on its way too.

I don't have a gaming console but play live for speed on my pc religiously.

Have any of you seen the Logitech g25 steering wheel? Check out the videos on youtube.
It is amazing, has pneumatic pedals, which include a clutch, a proper size leather and metal steering wheel and a 5 speed H gearbox. I really want to buy one next week and set it up with a car seat of mine and get some gaming on.
Would be really really good.

Just ABS. It's fun without traction/stability... especially in some 600bhp RWD Camaro

Forza takes some getting used to when you don't use ABS. I mean... in a real car, you're not going to lock the wheels up while doing 160mph. Only part of the game that spoils it IMO.

Looking at the console forum everyone has a credit card busting LCD HD TV type thingy.

Only got a Sony Wega widescreen TV, is it going to look pants? :(

Nope It will still look good. If your TV has component inputs then use those, that lead comes as standard with the Premium and Elite models.

If you need to plug it in via scart then you would be best off buying the "advanced" scart cable which gives you an RGB input to your TV :)

Flatout Ultimate Carnage
Burnout Revenge

I play those racers online most :)

However I play waaaay to many other games to be bothered listing.

Click the sig and you should see the lot :)

I've got a 28" JVC widescreen and am only using the composite input... doesn't look that bad... the text can be a little bit hard to read sometimes though (esecially on Rainbow Six - Vegas)

Like lordrobs mentioned, if your TV has component inputs, use the connectors supplied. It'll be much much better than crappy composite.

You should give the advanced scart cable a shot if you have a spare RGB scart socket on your TV. Really sharpens things up :)

The TV has tons of connectors etc in a drop down hatch thingy so I'm sure it'll be ok.

So, do I use those instead of a scart cable?
