The Bourne Ultimatum

I've only just watched The Bourne Identity last week, then I watched The Bourne Supremacy on Friday. Just went to see The Bourne Ultimatum, and I can honestly say, I enjoyed them all equally, absolutely briliant movies.

really really good film, great ending.

its a great trilogy and think it helped casino royale be a better film as they had to raise their game.

Saw this yesterday, loved the first two and this was a perfect end to the trilogy. I kind of hope they dont do the other two because they were terrible books. If nothing else they've definitely caused bond to update its image.

Great film, saw this last night and really enjoyed it. I especialy enjoyed the fight between him and desh (the other agent)

Has anyone read the other two books as i heard that he had writen two more??

So I watched it the other night and thought it was an average action movie in all! It didnt really add much more than the previous two which I felt were done a lot better. I have to admit I enjoyed Die Hard 4.0 a lot more than this...at least I didnt leave the cinema with motion-sickness in DH4!!! I think Bourne Ultimatum has to have the fastest cut scenes possible without losing track of whats going on, i had to look away sometimes haha!!

One question i do have (Spoilers!!) ...

So they manage to conduct all their operations from some tiny little office across the global, successfully killing people in Tangier and London Waterloo station etc...why the hell do they all suddenly decide to all leave the office like rats when Bourne arrives in NY and goes to meet Pamela in the square/park area (where they them selves claim is a poor meeting point with very little escape routes and so making himself and easy target) thus leaving the whole dam office and secret documents left wide open and vulnerable...why break the habit of using the hi-tech surveillance and trained assassins?? So they can take over Waterloo’s entire CCTV at the flick of a switch, are you telling me they’re helpless only a few blocks down from their headquarters!!! I couldn’t help laughing at some points!!!

Answer is in the question. The weren't expecting him on their doorstep, they panicked, acted irrationally and screwed up. I'm sure in hindsight they would have done exactly as you suggest.

Good film, even better when you've got the cinema to yourself :D
Lol seriously?! When I saw it last Friday in Manchester we walked in and it was just us. Needless to say we walked back outside again.

A couple of others went in after us and followed us out! :D Is there some shame in being in a cinema all by yourself?!:p

Out of curiosity did the minority of folks on here who were also disappointed by the third installment watch the other two films to death like I did?

No. I had seen the previous two before but I didn't watch them in preparation for the third film. That being said my Mum and a mate of mine both did the same, Mum watched my DVDs, my mate watched them on ITV2. Both liked the last film very much and were talking about how they all linked together so I don't think that is the reason.

I've watched the first two to death, and I watched them both just before I went to see The Bourne Ultimatum (on the same day). Needless to say, I LOVED it. ;) :D

Saw Die Hard 4.0 with only 2 other people. Had a good laugh about it afterwards with them as well.

Love seing films like that. Big screen, big noise, no people. :D
