We are considering we lost it by a point last season. Saying where not a top 4 is saying how arsenal just play for mid table with Everton and the likes
 
So you arent then? Spurs lost 300 games last season and still finished above you.

Id say youre trying to get top four but in reality top 6 is more likely.
 
Just caught up with highlights of the Arsenal game. David Luiz costing Arsenal goals and points again?!?! I'm genuinely shocked.

On a separate note, I know they both lost this weekend but I honestly wouldn't bet against either Leicester or Everton finishing in the top 6 this season. Arsenal and Utd look no better than last season and Chelsea are all over the place - if Leicester or Everton can put a little run together they're not going to be far away at least one of those sides.
 
Id put more blame on Sokratis personally. Looking at the arsenal forums etc he isnt getting anywhere near as much stick as Luiz and hes the one who let Watford in.

I've had a bet this year with an Arsenal fan that Everton will finish above them, but I have to say if Everton don't gel quicker I might have thrown the money away. On paper I think they are better than Arsenal but it's a close thing who will be more inconsistent.

As for the title I think it's Liverpools at a canter this year. I don't see City holding onto enough points while waiting for a half decent CB to return to fitness while Liverpool have weathered their GK issue.

Yeah but those payment terms... stroke of genius. Saved them billions and will allow them to spend so much more over the coming years!!
 
To be fair if Liverpool did have add ons then I'm sure they'll be paid up on VVD, Champs League won, VVS POTY, finishing 2nd, CL qualification etc etc.
 
After having watched Luiz a few times for us now I might take back my statement about him at least being an upgrade on Mustafi. He's been pretty shambolic in every game so far. Holding can't come back soon enough, he was showing real promise before his injury. I'm hopeful that when we have Bellerin, Holding and Tierney playing that we'll be more stable at the back, Sokratis isn't usually too bad so would have him in there too. At that point we'll know for sure whether it's a tactical or personnel issue with the way we're playing. I'd like to think having a more solid base will help with play all the way up the pitch but that remains to be seen.

As for Pepe, yes I know he's young and it's a new club etc etc but I honestly think we've made a huge mistake with him. He hasn't shown anything as yet to suggest he's anything other than a quick runner, decision making is awful, passing and shooting are not great and he looks like he has no control of the ball when dribbling. Should have got Zaha.

Zaha is hardly prolific, his scoring stats are poor, he's also ridiculously ball greedy and just seemingly wants players to foul him. Give Pepe some time.
 
Don’t forget the stupid price Palace wanted for Zaha as well, mind you £70mill for Pepe was stupid as well.

But I’ll give him a season to get gelled in and find his feet in the PL. Hopefully it won’t be too long before he starts to excel and show his worth.
 
In the space of around 6 weeks Arsenal fans have gone from not knowing who Pepe is, to him being better than Messi, to him being garbage. I'm starting to see why Arsenal Fan TV has been so successful.
