The Turing RTX 2080 Owners Thread

Sad to report fellas that my FE 2080 has died after 12 months and 6 days.

Artifacting. Was absolutely solid until now. Micron RAM.
Furmark kills it in less than 2 minutes.
Wonder how many of these cards are on the brink of dying. RMA in hand with nVidia.
I'd always assumed this was a 2080ti issue.

Fingers crossed for the replacement eh?

RMAing my Super 2080 MSI Gaming Trio for a full refund. Way too heavy @ 1.5Kg (even with 2 supports it sags too much) & not worth the £200 price premium over a Super 2070 plus RTX is like the emperors clothes! its never going to take off if the presently available titles are a sign of all it can offer RT wise :rolleyes:

Always wondered how hard it is (or not) to sell GPUs that come with waterblocks.

Also they need to pass on economy of scale, often can be a fair bit cheaper to buy a basic card and block it up yourself, which I have to say I find satisfying.
 
What is the difference between the Gigayte Gaming and Windforce? Is it the cooling and is the WF much worse in terms of noise and thermals? I have a pretty decent deal on a new WF and thinking about pulling the trigger.
 
I'm looking to purchase an RTX 2080 Super as an upgrade over my GTX 1080, the card I am interested in is the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC 8G however upon looking at this card it appears there are 2 different revisions of it, there is Rev 1 and Rev 2 (according to Gigabytes own website and the rain forest) but looking at these 2 cards I can't see any difference between them and can't find any details about this anywhere online so I wondered if anyone here knew what the difference is..? Thanks.
