Don't lie to yourself; he was only impeached because he is in the minority party of the House of Representatives and he's only being acquitted because he's in the majority party of the Senate. The whole process is a farce.

Probably. However the house investigation at least tried to offer a fair investigation. The senate "trial" was a farce and a compete cover up. Remains to be seen if that corruption resonates with voters. Not his base of course as most of those are morons.

I've been saying this for a while, I posted a lot of stuff to try and open peoples eyes about this a few pages back. But that is only the surface layer, they same people getting kick-backs in the democratic party are the same people that are responsible for the massacre in Ukraine that triggered the coup. Behind it are the same face, Biden/Obama/Pelosi/Kerry/Schiff, with the help of the CIA directory of the time, via the leaker(who speaks fluent Ukraine/Russian) - it's no wonder they are fighting so badly to keep it all hidden.
No-one can deny that the USA takes what it wants with force, Oil in the case of Iraq/Syria/Iran and oil/gas with respect to Ukraine. It's worth 10's of millions a day, billions a year so plenty of money to pay everyone off including old presidents/VP's/Speakers/etc - with the go to method being paying them off through their kids where possible(Biden/Pelosi/Kerry/Romney)..

He asked for US, I.E the country.. He's trying to route out corruption, Biden is corrupt as they come, hence he asked.

And it was even before it passed up, as Mitch etc said they'd acquit him before hand.
Something that in any other trial in the US (or most of the rest of the world with with working legal systems) would result in the jurors being dismissed.
Name one other form of trial where the presiding "judge" would not allow witnesses, or where the "jurors" would be allowed to get away with stating openly they had no intent to listen to the case but were going to find the person not guilty regardless.
It is incredibly telling that the Republicans didn't want any witnesses to be called despite their nonense about how they weren't allowed to call witnesses in the lower house (they were, it's just that they wanted to call people who had nothing to do with it, and went along with the White House instructing people not to attend).

You’re incredibly naive if you think he has any interest in fighting corruption. He has said he’d accept dirt from foreign governments and that’s what he’s doing. What makes you think he cares about corruption? He didn’t pay $25m to settle a lawsuit around his scam university did he? His charity wasn’t shut down because he was using funds illegally was it? He didn’t pay the Florida DA to make an investigation go away did he? But yeah, he cares about corruption all of a sudden.
If he wanted corruption investigating why was he using his personal attorney and his shady associates instead of going down official routes? Why did he oust an ambassador who was actively working to reduce corruption in Ukraine? Why did he wait until 3 years into his presidency, after Biden announced he was running for President?

There isn't anything to actually back it up and it doesn't make any sense. If Biden was "as corrupt as they come" why hasn't Barr and the DOJ indicted him yet? Why, did he instead have to circumvent proper channels and use his personal lawyer/eastern European donors) to try and get a foreign ally to announce an investigation into a company that his son served on the board of.
Because any sane person would ask America's Mayor, who frequently but dials journalists, to investigate along with cardboard cutouts of Niko's cousins from GTA IV instead of Barr and you know his DoJ.
This all boils down to the gulf between the GOP being in power and winning fairly with policies that win hearts and minds. They have no message (other than fear and division) and can't win on arguments/policies, their demographic is dying out and under threat, so they can't win fairly which means they cheat. The wider the gap, the more they will cheat and at this rate - is there anything they would consider too much? Probably not. The GOP maintain and gain power solely on their own and the Democrats think their route to power is bipartisanship.
A complete and utter mess. The same party (ha) only ~50 years ago were able to realise and reflect that their own president had crossed a line and should go......
