RX 6600XT 1080p gaming for $379 on Aug 11

Of course Gibbo is essentially correct - in the current climate it’s a bargain. If it was a tiny bit better than the 3060ti I think people would be more excited but look at, say, the 6700xt at £650. The 3060ti recent deals are probably more attractive but they sold out immediately and the cheapest one you can buy on ocuk is £619. All ranges aren’t available to compare with all the others in genuine competition and comparison. Also if you need a card this is one of the best bangs per buck out there even tho realistically and historically it’s prob a £200 card.

The best case scenario is that it’s available in enough supply to pressure the 3060ti and mean the recent ‘offer’ price becomes the norm as at £350 the 6600xt kills the 3600 ti at £600+

current cards at same price on ocuk - 1660 and 2060…

Absolute hogwash. Bargain? 6600xt? You are having a laugh.

What is a 3600ti??? Anyway?

With a bit of patience you can get a mint 3060ti ,with free delivery for 369£.

That's a bargain son.

Prices for the cheapest in stock card at my local store in US dollars

3060: $550
3060ti: $680
6700xt: $750

I expect the 6600xt will be around $550 to $600

OcUK will hit $379 for a short period, and will then be around $425 on 6600 XT :)

OcUK is hitting around $500 on 3060Ti here in UK and less on 3060, 6700 XT we are about the same at $750.

From a technical standpoint a smaller GPU with a 128 bit memory controller, matching a larger previous generation GPU with a 256 bit memory controller,on the same node, whilst drawing less power is almost a Maxwell moment.

However, unlike Maxwell the price is a bit crap.

Its absolutely fine as a piece of hardware, just the price.
Indeed. At around £200, which is what it should cost, it would be a great card and finally give people looking to pay that sort of money a good upgrade path for the first time since Polaris. The fact that it's going to be approaching double that is the embarrassing part.

You might want to skip the Biostar Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming model as Hardware Unboxed gave it a bad review, even saying "avoid it like the plague"

2pm but do be refreshing the website between now and then every few minutes as some may appear a few minutes earlier. :)

Yeah, I love the idea of the card, but I'll eek out my rx480 a bit longer I think.

Ninja edit, this was for the cards at 375+, I think the 330 was a good price.
