What an absolute, piece or crap.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
This so much. I didn't like it on the last Gen, but I could have kind of understood it. On a card this costing this much, I don't.AMD that tight they need run x8 on a $380 card.....
Of course Gibbo is essentially correct - in the current climate it’s a bargain. If it was a tiny bit better than the 3600ti I think people would be more excited but look at, say, the 6700xt at £650. The 3600ti recent deals are probably more attractive but they sold out immediately and the cheapest one you can buy on ocuk is £619. All ranges aren’t available to compare with all the others in genuine competition and comparison. Also if you need a card this is one of the best bangs per buck out there even tho realistically and historically it’s prob a £200 card. The best case scenario is that it’s available in enough supply to pressure the 3600ti and mean the recent ‘offer’ price becomes the norm as at £350 the 6600xt kills the 3600 ti at £600+
Prices for the cheapest in stock card at my local store in US dollars
3060: $550
3060ti: $680
6700xt: $750
I expect the 6600xt will be around $550 to $600
Ridiculous card, embarrassing to say the least.
Indeed. At around £200, which is what it should cost, it would be a great card and finally give people looking to pay that sort of money a good upgrade path for the first time since Polaris. The fact that it's going to be approaching double that is the embarrassing part. Its absolutely fine as a piece of hardware, just the price.
It's less than 1/2 the spec of the 6800XT for 2/3 the msrp.
