If you check the thread backwards, people always say that .. until the next 3080 drop. And then they say again this was the last one. We'll see when we'll see. Last 3080 drop was in EU 2 weeks ago.

I've been holding out for 3080, last time it dropped I had it in my shopping basket but screwed up the address and they play in iron man mode, if there's any problem during the order process they take it out of your basket and it'll be gone in seconds. I may settle for a 3070 if there are no 3080 drops in November. It also depends how greedy Nvidia gets with the Super series.

To be fair, NVIDIA are not being greedy, all these 3080 FE cards end up on the Bay for sale, so they are dropping enough cards. It's people ruining it for others and ruining it for the GPU climate.

Oh, they are greedy all right, looking at 3080ti MSRP. why sell a card to plebs at £649 when you can ask £400 more and it'll still get snagged up post haste. I'd expect FE 3080 Super to cost at least £899 if not more.

Its still around 4-600 cheaper than AIB 3080ti though so you can see how much the AIBs are making on top.

That price is a scalped price, I would not recommend anyone pay for that.
However and unfortunatelty, a huge amount of FE cards (3060 Ti and 3070s included), all end up on that site for sale.

Why is it the founders 3060ti editions are selling on ebay at 900-1050 when u can buy at around 650 easy enough from reputable dealers.Is it the fact that they have no lhr?

The 3060ti FE aren't mining limited so that's why people are willing to pay more, just goes to show how high AIB prices would be if they didn't implement LHR.
