Wow this is a blast from the past. Tempted to see how it runs as I don't think I've run this since 2014.

Such an awesome game and have played it many many times over the years , kind of upset that there is nothing left for me to do on it now :( praying we one day get a worthy sequel . Fire it up though as would be interested to see how it runs on AMD 5950X/6900XT combo ... i would hope you were able to beat your old scores set back then:cry:

one of those games ai never finished sadly. I got some new AAA title, probably one of the battlfield ones and sunk 100s of hours into that and never went back to finish AI. Must do it one day.

Should be able to do.

You should 100% revisit it if you can , still got so much depth and atmosphere to it even by todays standard ... it is exactly how a survival horror fps should be done , unfortunately imo it really didn't get the recognition it deserved when it was released but holds a fond place in my heart and is up there in my 5 best games of all time:D I have recommended it to a few friends over the years but most don't get far before ******** their pants which is funny being a grown adult but it does certainly have its moments where it can freak you out. Brilliant game that actually makes you feel scared at times

All the reasons above I'll agree with & pretty much why after I noticed it lurking on my steam list thought.......Lets have another look, Ive a new VGA card since last time, Lets see just how hard I get CPU Bottlenecked.
Bottleneck hard it did, but found its legs again @ 21:9 1440p.

Was playing through it recently, need to finish it though campaign is pretty lengthy (and tense!) Runs great on current hardware @ 4K and still looks pretty decent for an old game :) Think I benched this back on 970 SLI. :p

Well Jensen wasn't lying when he marketed the 3090 as an 8K capable GPU , albeit only if your playing Alien isolation or Doom eternal  This isn't for the score board as i had to use DSR to achieve 8K but it is certainly playable at that resolution if you wanted to try it :)

Thought I'd run the bench for ships'n'giggles on a friends rig that I just finished putting together, Ran it 3 times and got roughly the same score, Within 5FPS, Each time :)
