A win's a win. We defended well tbh.

Villa fans celebrating. They deserve to have bottles thrown at them, isn't that right Derek? Winding up opposition fans isn't fair?

Fred is such a frustrating player. Starts as many opposition attacks as he does for us and his first touch, passing and positional awareness is so erratic.

Greenwood and Fernandes not offering enough. Greenwood needs to watch Cavani for movement. At least twice Dalot has overlapped in good space and Greenwood has basically just stood still. Fernandes needs passing lessons. Yes we need him for creativity but we also need him not to constantly giving the ball away. Controversially I am of the opinion that unless Ronaldo gets a header on that cross from Bruno he offers very little in this sort of match. Better, dull from West Ham which is not untypical when they come to OT.

Our game could go either way from here, Moyes v Rangnick on the tactics... :o :p

Yeah, quite an important game for both sides. Tottenham will ultimately be in 3rd/4th after their games in hand but if we want to be in the mix for top 4 we need to be winning these games.

And with United at the moment its "opposition vs how much effort are our players going to put in today".

Rashford wastes no time in running into the first defender he meets. :p

Genuinely feel like in training they could put those yellow "dummy" players in front of him and they would win 100% of the challenges.

Also, what is Ronaldo doing. Hes making it so easy for the defence because hes coming into the spaces our other players are in, leaving no one in the middle for the defenders to worry about.

I feel like our performance has been better, but in reality it hasn't really. Not great once again.

Huge if Newcastle can hang on.
