I just did this a couple weeks ago. I have only been running AMS2 on a Reverb (G1), and haven't noticed a difference.it's on a racing rig that uses triples with 1440p panels or Varjo Aero VR just wondered if i'd notice any difference?
with you having so many screens and VR the 7800x3d/9800x3d would be be very good CPU's,it's on a racing rig that uses triples with 1440p panels or Varjo Aero VR just wondered if i'd notice any difference?
obviously this is a massive factorDepends what GPU you have.
In that case you would 100% benefit from a 9800X3D. It would be a better buy than a 5090.ATM it's a 4090 but depending on benchmarks probably a 5090
ATM it's a 4090 but depending on benchmarks probably a 5090
i just dont want to spend £3k+ on bothin your use case you need to look into the sim game and see if it benefits from 3D cache. but i would think if your going to grab a 5090 a new CPU would be needed no mater the use case
i just dont want to spend £3k+ on both
9800x3d is on average 42% faster than the 5800x3d mite be worth trawling threw some reviews to see if you can get any benchmarks on specific games.
I think you should at least have way better minimums , the 5800x3d is 7600x levels if performance along with ddr5 should get more things .I just pulled the trigger my upgrade itch was driving me mad i'm building a totally new system so if it's no faster for me i'll sell it hopefully
What's that 42% from
TPU has a best case scenario of being an average of 26% faster at 720p Ultra and the gap shrinks to almost nothing up to 4K.

Ok tx for the infoThat site rips off real reviewers and posts as their own. They took those numbers from the Techspot/HUB review: https://www.techspot.com/review/2915-amd-ryzen-7-9800x3d/
Unless Techspot/HUB has a partner in pakistan who rebadges their work without credit for some reason.
The numbers are real, the benchmarks are different to TPU even when the games are the same because they use different areas so it's differently real.
