They should be announcing what's coming next year, not planning it :rolleyes:

More than likely, so many maps in this game are clearly designed with an infantry centric focus on them. Vehicles are an afterthought, putting jets on that oilfield map says it all ffs.

the maps I enjoy are Infantry focused so many in past could have done with no airpower /tanks and just transports ( and no I do not like meat grinder maps )

Jets can **** of and play there own little game leaving everyone else alone ;)

Tanks are ok but I used to farm people in bf3 with them at times

the new armoured transport is a nice addition it can be a force multiplier and really turn the tide as times
 
What’s with the latest crazy on conquest where your entire team race to try and capture the opposing teams starting objective, only to leave your own starting objective completely empty so the other team does the exact same thing to you? It happens in nearly every match now, and it’s seriously frustrating! On an A to E point map, you should only really need to fight over B to D points, if you keep your start point always safe. But this latest gameplay tactic means you end up having to fight over all 5 points constantly, and the match becomes far more of a juggling act that it really needs to be. It overcomplicates gameplay, with no obvious advantage other than you might get a lucky all points win…which isn’t very exciting anyway. I’d rather have a closely fought match than a completely dominated one-sided match (either as a winning or loosing team)!

The issue isn't the fact that the team is trying to take the opposing teams starting flags. In fact that's an excellent idea.

The issue is that everyone follows everyone else and if they see that everyone is going for the opposing teams flags they just follow suit rather than getting the flags they should be going for.

Also consider this as people go for the opposing team flags people are able to spawn on them too so you end up with a sort of cascade effect.

I agree that it's a annoying but that's public servers for you.
 
Dont play every day anymore, but still enjoy it somewhat when i do play, dont think the game is that broken myself, in fact things have improved for me, its the teams im put on that can infuriate me lol

I like to do this because I plan to mine the exit paths out of the enemy spawn which takes enemy armour out of the game and should make it easy for your team to win - I guess the other side might have the same plan!
 
Helped do games like the original medal of honour series, titanfall, cod, battlefield etc, awful news may he RIP
