Yep, I paused and rewound a few bits and consulted Wiki on certain bits. It wasn't the theory, more the ease of how they went about it.
John Wick Chapter 4. 8/10. I've never seen any of the John Wick movies but I really enjoyed this. But I don't think even the Batman could..
withstand being rammed by multiple cars, falling several times onto concrete from about 50 feet, getting up and dusting himself off while fighting off billions of enemies single handedly.

The 1st one is the best by far.John Wick Chapter 4. 8/10. I've never seen any of the John Wick movies but I really enjoyed this. For Your Eyes Only (1981)
After watching it I'm convinced that's the first time I've seen it. Which for someone my age seems ridiculous, but there you go. It's not too bad, the stunt work is really good. Particularly the helicopter during the opening sequence and the mountain climbing in the final act.
Considering Roger Moore still had two more films to go, he was already looking too old, especially opposite Carole Bouquet at the time 30 years his junior.
As for the film, it's a bit lacking in action at times and is just a rehash of previous Bond sequences for the most part.

Zootropolis 2. 65/100
I liked the message but the film was a bit random. I preferred and really liked 1.
I liked the message more than the film. I think it was geared more towards kids and the first one was more north kids and adults.
Unfortunately I think my film standards are lower than they used to be as there aren't many good films now

I still get a tear in my eye thinking about the last action scene.
Running Man (2025) - 5/10
This is a pretty low score for me as I'm generally easily pleased and only watch things I think I will enjoy, but, this wasn't great. A lot of just didn't seem to make sense tbh... pretty cheesy, a pretty bad script...

Was about half an hour too long and I kept checking my watch even then. Could have been so much better really.
Ended up watching Nuremberg here. Solid 9/10 for me, and definitely something I'd not have watched normally (Mrs w convinced me).

A Complete Unknown.
As someone who isn't familiar with Bob Dylan, it was okay. Not amazing, not great. I recognised a few songs in the movie and didn't know anything about any of the "events" or 99% of the people in it but it's not on the same level as something like Walk the Line.

A phycologist must extract a code from the mind of a disturbed woman in order to save his daughter who's been taken hostage.
Middling. It's a good set up and a fun MacGuffin hunt but it doesn't do anything particularly memorable. Michael Douglas might be miscast as the lead and there is little suspense as the villain is Sean Bean. So, you know, guess what happens to him.

Two gritty, senior detectives seem a bit 'too close' to a series of murders, causing suspicion amongst their juniors.
Middling. Considering this stars Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro it lacks punch. They both come across as a little one dimensional. I'll give it a bonus half mark just because it managed to get me with a twist that I really ought to have seen coming a mile away.

A limo driver ends up in an unexpected situation and must hide out in his limo with a large bear.
Jokes aside, this superbly balances action and light-hearted fun. Alan Rickman is sensational as the charismatic Hans, but my favourite scene is possibly the quirky moment where a henchman decides to eat a chocolate bar.
And for whatever reason this film felt a lot more Christmassy this time around... so I guess that I'll have to agree that it is a Christmas film after all (!).

Good Boy (2025)
Interesting concept, especially for dog lovers. But sadly it didn't quite nail it. I found it to be a bit underwhelming for the most part apart from the main character (dog) being incredible, lol. But maybe that's my fault for having the wrong expectations going in.
