Eh?
My 7950 was 380 quid when I got it just a week or so after launch (albeit having factory OC and custom cooler).
I don't remember the 7970 being cheaper at the time?
My 64GB drive was not really big enough even though it was for OS and programs only.
Now using a 120GB for OS/programs and storage and games on other drives.
Why not just increase your maximum fan speed level (disregarding sound level at this point), monitor temps and see if it makes any difference?
With my first 7950 I was getting the same type of message 'display driver crashed etc' but believe it was possibly not enough core volts.
Being closer to the budget the 7950 (yes I have one but I'm not biased towards AMD).
Real shame not to overclock them though as the performance increase potential is substantial.
Very happy with my pre-problem TF3.
Hmm mine is just the opposite the battery life is now poor (it was very good with ICS) Flashed the 'world' version ftf.
Have activated power management to see if that helps.
If the TF3 was without problems they would be 'up there' with the best imo.
Loving mine but having read so many posts here from disappointed guys it would be a good sales pitch to get them flying off the shelf atm.
I had a B grade EVGA GTX460 as a temporary card for a while and there was just a little box damage, all accessories were there.
Card looked unused and was a little cracker for what I needed at the time.
I use 3 ssd's but the Kingston is a replacement after my first ssd an early Kingston died after I messed it up.
My Sandisk Extreme and M4 run brilliantly.
I would not hesitate to say 'buy one' (perhaps I personally would not get an OCZ though) and back up which has been said above.
Agreed with the others it would be a shame not to oc the 7950 as most of them can offer a nice bump in performance.
I use Afterburner and my 24/7 settings are 1100 core (small increase in volts) with 1500 mem.
If you are not keen on messing with the voltage I reckon you could get to at least...
