i got similar results to you. although i cant hit 4.0 unless i go up to 1.41v at that point the temp gets a bit too uncomfortable for me. so im happy with 3.9 @1.32v for everyday use

Just went and pulled the trigger. Couldn’t say no to a 1800x at £280 >.< Rather get a decent priced 1800x now then upgrade to ryzen 2. I don’t expect to see ryzen plus to bring any huge improvements. If it does can always just trade in the 1800x. Thanks to those that helped me earlier o/

Sorry I’m so out of the tech loop but is ryzen 7 stuffs worth upgrading to from a 4770k. Mostly gaming. Sometimes stream but rarely.

maybe looking to purchase a 1080ti today or wait till tomorrow. torn between the asus or evga one listed above. not really much difference in price. so do i just go for evga for better warranty ? in my experience anyway unless asus has finally stepped up?

u wont need that unless youre doing 4 way. You can just run 2-way just fine without it.
