Had a visit from an Air Officer last year that was banging the drum for the ACE concept, and saying how lethal we will become. I said I didn't feel lethal as I legit spent more time on D&I than I did handling a weapon that year. Got a good talking to afterwards.

Been in nearly 15 years myself. I wouldn't join up nowadays if i was in the position to do so. We're in an absolute mess because too many people are career focused rather than mission focused. I enjoy my job, like the location, though starting to dislike the current organisation.

Hit a pothole that was on a left hand sweeping bend on a country road. Blew the tyre pretty much instantly. (205/45/R18) Thankfully I was going at a reasonable speed. Had to limp the car about a half mile on the flat to find safe space to put the space saver spare on.

Recieved something simmilar to this when I was in Romania. The warning was in Romanian, so naturally I was a bit concerned as I couldn't read it! After getting one of my colleagues to translate, all it pretty much said was "Heatwave forecast, stay hydrated and avoid the sun between 12-3-PM

Crazy that certain 'community' leaders are on call 24/7 to respond to these sorts of incidents. Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing.

Hope they get the absolute book thrown at them. Though with their connections / status, no doubt they'll just have to do a couple of hundred hours basket weaving and all will be forgotten.

I often lose my rag when my Mrs is driving. She can pull away in her car, then she waits until she gets onto a main road to fanny about with something, whether it's taking off her jacket or getting a drink or getting something out of her bag.

Yeah I'd agree there's definitely a bit of a fad with these videos. Some are more genuine than others! I found some of them entertaining though!
