Amazon said they would release the PS5 for sale at 12pm today, so being on earlier wouldn't have made any difference.... though neither did being on at 12pm to be fair?!
I think they're very clear, especially for hearing speech, so for that I think they're excellent :)
Though as per all TV speakers, there's no bass and that's were an AV Receiver with decent speakers and a sub is essential for movies and games imho.
If your budget allows get the bigger TV. Only time I'd prefer the 48" over the 55" is if being used as a PC monitor and you're sat 1 or 2ft away.
I'm sat 6ft away from the 65" and first thought was it's too big but that soon goes away :)
I plugged the HDMI directly into the TV and that's fixed the issue, my AV Receiver is a little too long in the tooth. Looks like I'll be using the optical connection for sound until they sort out the HDMI 2.1 issue out and I can updgrade the amp.
Looks so much better now with HDR enabled :)
Does anybody know if I'll be able to get ARC to work with my old Yamaha RX-V1065 Receiver? It's over 10 years old now and although it sounds great it's showing it's age. Only HDMI 1.3a too.
Not 100% sure to be honest, it was a bit confusing as the TV kept changing picture and sound modes and as it's all new not sure why.
I did try the Pro settings with recommended settings in there and I know the HDMI cable is capable of doing everything it needs to. It's weird because when the...
My 65CX arrived yesterday, only had an hour to play around with it. It's quite an upgrade from my almost 5 year old 50" Sony LED!
Picture is stunning with 4k feed and impressed with the sound for a TV. However, I had a quick 10 minute blast on the PS4 (not pro) and yes I know it's only 1080p...
Yes keeping my eye on that, which is why I haven't bought one yet :)
Fingers crossed they can fix it with a firmware update, if not they'll need to start using a new chip in an updated model? No point in keep making these if they aren't fit for purpose?
Finally took the plunge and ordered the 65CX for £1899 inc delivery with 5 year warranty, plus I can pricematch upto Black Friday.
Need to upgrade my cinema kit now, the Yamaha RX-V1065 has been brilliant but it's over 10 years old and obviously won't pass through 4k. Looking at the Denon X2700H :)
Goodyear 235/40 R18 Y (95) EAGLE F1 (ASYMMETRIC 5) XL
They seem to average around £100 a corner fitted at that size, so glad I didn't pull the trigger and buy them last week :)
I think I get 2% cashback on my Costco membership too! Oooshh!
I can get either;
Michelin Pilot 4 XL - 235/40/18 - £400 fitted and balanced
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 XL - 235/40/18 - £360 fitted and balanced
Volvo S60 diesel so not exactly a hot hatch or anything. Any reason I shouldn't just get the cheaper set?
Going to have to try something, just worried of popping something off as I'd be doing it blind. It's so tight can't see anything :(
I have managed to clear the AMD drivers in safe mode and then the PC has booted up using the Intel HD Graphics, so at least I know it's the Graphics card itself or...
Having PC issues and it won't boot, only in safe mode with networking. I've tried quite a few things but I want to rule out the graphics card but I can't get it out!
It's a large MSI 480 graphics card with the big cooler on it, think it's a Gaming X 8gb. It's attached to a Gigabyte Z87-D3HP in...
